yahoo bought bix today (congrats!)…and, in the nytimes article there was this nugget:

Mike Speiser, chief executive of Bix.com, said he had had discussions with media companies about using the site to screen participants for reality television shows. Mr. Speiser will become vice president for community at Yahoo.

guess mike (cofounder of epinions) is brian bowman’s replacement…interesting that he’s coming in from the outside.

btw, the reuters article said that he’d also own yahoo photos…
